This post is mainly aimed at those of you who have been following my daily audio posts on the Klingon language, but anyone else who’s interested should feel free to chime in.
For the most part, I write up a script (of sorts) before I record each day’s audio. I’m wondering if it would be useful or even remotely worthwhile for me to include that text in the daily post here, along with the link to the audio file.
Opinions?

So the question is: should you post the script?
I think that could be helpful. There have been times when I wanted to double check something but forgot which episode it was in. Perhaps having a script–or even just a summary of the episode?–could be useful in sorting through all the topics, especially as the number of episodes builds up.
On a different topic: I really enjoy this podcast. It’s a lot of fun!

Thank you for making this daily podcast. Having the Klingon words or phrases written out would be nice. Learning to recognize the spoken word is more difficult than learning to recognize written words so it is helpful to be able to match up the sounds with the written words. I agree that a summary would be useful but I don’t think you need to post the entire script.

Personally, I don’t think I need the scripts, but I agree with M that it might help to have some way of referring to past episodes. So far I’ve been able to take a few notes to help me grok each one. Seeing the vocab up here is very helpful, so maybe a few of the phrases would be nice to see, as well.
Thanks again for a great podcast!

Well, this podcast is evolving, and I’m happy to try new things. Together, we’ll find out what works, what works best, and what doesn’t work at all.
I’ve just finished recording most of next week’s episodes, and so starting Monday you’ll have access to each day’s script.
I’m also thinking that particularly by the end of next week, I’ll start including a weekly summary of all the vocabulary to date. That will make it easier when I ask you to practice using words we’ve already covered.

I’ve been downloading and saving the podcasts. Until the end of February I’m going to be concentrating on Esperanto, but come March 1st, I plan on getting back to tlhIngan Hol and listening to your podcasts then.
I know with the other language podcasts I listen to, it does help to have a written version of what is being said to read as I listen. I’d imagine it would be the same with yours. Although, I’m thinking my copies of TKD and KGT should help even without a script. 🙂
