I’m your host, Lawrence Schoen and today is Monday, January 31st, 2011, and I thought it would be grand to take our leave of the month with some verbs. So let’s get to it:
tlhap means take. TLH, A, P. tlhap
mej is leave or depart. M, E, J. mej
chegh means return, as in returning to a place, not returning as in giving something back. That’s CH, E, GH. chegh
Such is visit. Captial S, U, CH. Such
Time for a few sample sentences, just so you’re sure you’re doing them correctly:

soon I will leave again
romuluSngan DaDevchoH ‘ach cheghnIS tlhIngan
you begin leading the Romulan, but the Klingon needs to return
Four verbs. Nothing complicated about them. Our lesson for today is about to come to an end, and you could stop here as well and be done. That’s your choice of course. Or you could keep going. You could combine these four new verbs with all the prefixes you’ve already learned and practice them on your own. Maybe work in the verb suffixes we’ve talked about. Even try out all the nouns you know as subjects of these four new verbs. You could. And if you did, you just might see how qo’mey poSmoH Hol, Language Opens Worlds.
