Don’t forget to aspirate your final glottal stops! The difference between [ja] and [ja’] is not the difference between /jaa/ and /ja/. {ja’} sounds exactly like [ja] with a tiny cough at the end. The length of the vowel does not change.

I’m constantly dropping my glottal stops (though I don’t think I’d refer to it as a failure to “aspirate”).
