Dinner was quite enjoyable. I broke from custom and started the meal with some alcohol (Bailey’s on ice). I didn’t find any of the menu’s starters particularly appealing, so instead I ordered a side of Ricotta Gnocchi. Then, for my entree, I went with their “field and stream” choice: Pecan Crusted Blooming Grove Trout, Butternut Sage Risotto, Pennsylvania Elk with Apple Cider Quince Sauce.
Yeah, it was tasty.
This morning we’re off to brunch at Torte Knox, which promises to be interesting. Then on to a little bit of window shopping, and then home.
