Being a writer isn’t all about sitting in front of a keyboard (gee, I hope my publisher is reading this). No, indeed. Some of my most productive time is when I’m laying back on my hammock. I let my eyes close, and the gentle swaying eases my mind into a wonderfully hypnogogic state, and the creativity unwinds throughout my thoughts.
At such times, it’s a good thing to have a faithful hound around, keeping me safe from any distractions (pesky bunnies!) that might interrupt the creative process. Yeah, that’s my story, and I’m sticking with it. Happy Thursday! |

Experts say dogs have no sense of comfort.
As a fellow person with a dog small enough to use me as a mattress/headrest, I’m inclined to say those experts have no idea what they’re talking about.

I’m not sure who your “experts” are, or what their operational definition of “comfort” might be, but either you’re kidding me or they’re idiots.
I’ve never known a dog who didn’t have an innate understanding of what comfort was.
