Welcome to the third installment of DaHjaj Hol, a daily bit of Klingon language, to help you get comfortable with the warriors’ tongue. Today is Verb Day! Yay!
Give a listen, and let me know what you think.

I’ve gone ahead and subscribed to the podcast, but haven’t listened to them yet.
You may want to add a reminder for the tech-illiterate on how they can subscribe in iTunes:
Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast > and enter the URL:

What kind of reminder did you have in mind? The hash tags do some of that, and anyone who reads my LJ or subscribes to the RSS feed from my blog gets the daily link.
My webmaster will be providing an auto-post to my Facebook page one of these days (he’s been super-busy).
Hmm… it does occur to me that I’ve somehow neglected to make mention of this on the KLI monthly board. Ooops.

I think I phrased my comment ambiguously. I meant that you should add an instructional “how to subscribe to podcast directly in iTunes” note in the blog posts (underneath ‘Give a listen, and let me know what you think.’) I didn’t mean an actual “don’t forget!” reminder.
People who visit the blog itself through your Twitter feed, or through your LJ, can download the podcast file manually every day. But lazy people (like me) can directly add the podcast feed to iTunes once (using the simple instructions I mentioned in my first comment), and iTunes will automatically download the podcast file daily (if iTunes is open).

Ah, now I understand.
Unfortunately though, I still can’t help you.
I’m very new to this whole “podcast” thing, and I haven’t gotten organized to the point where I’m making DaHjaj Hol available via iTunes. At least, not yet. It’s definitely a goal (along with some improved recording technique), but at the moment I have my hands full just getting the recordings off the ground. But one day…

Now here’s the cool part, Lawrence (and the whole point of my original comment):
Although DaHjaj Hol isn’t in the fancy iTunes ‘podcast store’, your listeners can still add it to their iTunes program to download automatically. They just have to do the following in iTunes (try it yourself to see what I mean):
go to Advanced menu > Subscribe to Podcast > and enter the URL:
http://www.lawrencemschoen.com/category/podcasts/feed/
No extra steps needed on your part (unless you want to add these instructions to your blog posts).

Now I’m following. Huh, I didn’t realize that my blogsite was set up to accomodate iTunes in this way.
If you find this technique is working for you then I’ll definitely add the instructions to the daily note.
Hmm… I wonder if there’s any way to track how many people are subscribing in this fashion.

Just subscribed on iTunes using Tad’s instructions; very handy!
Too bad iTunes Mobile doesn’t support this feature, but I should probably get myself a decent RSS app, anyway.
